Privacy Policy
How Forever Talent Planner handles builds, account data, cookies, and optional third-party services.
Last updated: 2026-09-23
Forever Talent Planner is a fan-made tool for browsing WoW Forever beta data and planning talent builds. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the site.
Information used by the planner
- Builds saved on this device. If you choose to save a build locally, its name, class, level, talent choices, and save time are stored in your browser's local storage. These builds stay on that browser unless you remove them, clear its site data, or choose to import them into a signed-in account.
- Shared builds. A share link contains the talent allocation in the URL. Anyone with that link can view the build. Do not include personal or confidential information in a build name or in anything you share.
- Account builds. If you sign in and save or import builds to your account, we store their name, class, level, talent choices, data version, and save time with your account. Deleting a build removes it from your active build list.
- Account and support details. If you create an account, the service processes the name, email address, authentication information, and session data needed to sign you in. If you contact support, we process the information and any attachments you submit so we can respond.
- Technical data. Our hosting and security systems may process your IP address, browser and device information, request times, and error or access logs to deliver the site, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse.
You can browse the public planner without creating an account. An account is needed to save builds to the server or submit a support ticket.
Why we use this information
We use the information above to provide the planner and account features you request, keep the service working and secure, respond to support requests, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use your local builds for account storage unless you choose to import them.
Browser storage, cookies, and optional services
The site uses browser storage for local builds and interface preferences, and cookies for functions such as sign-in, language choice, and interface state. You can clear these through your browser, but doing so may sign you out or erase builds saved only on that device.
Depending on the site's current configuration, third-party services may also load: Google sign-in or One Tap; Google Analytics or Plausible for site measurement; Google AdSense for advertising; and Crisp or Tawk.to for support chat. These providers may receive technical information and use cookies or similar identifiers under their own policies. If Google ads are enabled, Google and other advertising vendors may place or read cookies and use web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technology to show ads based on visits to this and other sites. You can manage personalized Google ads in Google Ads Settings and browser cookie settings. Advertising or analytics may be absent when the corresponding service is not enabled.
You can use your browser settings and any consent controls shown on the site to manage optional cookies. Clearing browser storage does not by itself erase data already held by a third party.
Sharing and retention
Account, support, and technical data may be handled by the providers needed to host the site, store data, authenticate users, deliver support, or run any enabled measurement and advertising services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users. Providers may process information in other countries.
Local builds remain on your device until you delete them or clear that browser's site data. Account builds and support records are kept while needed to provide those features and for legitimate security or legal needs. Deleted items may remain in technical records or backups under their normal retention processes. We do not promise a fixed retention period where one has not been set.
Your choices and requests
You can delete local builds in the planner or clear the site's browser data. Signed-in users can manage their saved builds. To request access, correction, or deletion of account information, or to raise a privacy concern, use a support ticket after signing in. We will handle requests according to applicable law; some information may need to be retained for security or legal reasons. Browser controls can also restrict optional cookies, though some site functions may then be unavailable.
Children and changes
The site is intended as a general game-planning resource, not a service directed at children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us through the support channel. We may revise this policy as the site changes. The date shown above identifies the latest version.
