WoW Forever Druid Talent Calculator

Compare four WoW Forever Druid jobs in one 51-point talent calculator: Bear tank, Cat melee, Moonkin caster and Restoration healer. They use three talent trees, with separate Feral allocations for Bear and Cat rather than four independent trees.

These four Druid builds make the role tradeoffs explicit. The current snapshot contains Moonkin Form but no Tree of Life talent or spellbook entry. “Tree healer” is therefore a role shorthand here, not a promised shapeshift or a fourth talent tree.

Bear — mitigation and threat

Thick Hide, Feral Instinct and Natural Reaction prioritize survival, threat and rage on dodges. Primal Bite and Berserk supply a multi-target window; Rend and Tear rewards attacks on bleeding enemies. Furor and Naturalist support shifting and damage, with one point in Natural Shapeshifter reducing shift cost.

Cat — energy and bleed damage

Shredding Attacks reduces Shred cost, Blood Frenzy rewards melee criticals, and Rend and Tear rewards bleeding targets. King of the Jungle makes Tiger’s Fury an energy tool, while Berserk strengthens combo-point generation. This trades the Bear preset’s armor and dodge investments for Cat pressure.

Balance — Moonkin with off-healing support

Moonkin Form, Moonfury and Vengeance provide the caster package. Eclipse links Wrath to faster Starfires, while Nature’s Splendor extends key periodic effects. Restoration supplies Naturalist, Reflection and healing support for a flexible group build; leave Moonkin Form before using that healing investment.

Living Spirit and Reflection help sustain casting, while Nature’s Swiftness provides an emergency option. Balance contributes Genesis, Moonglow and Nature’s Splendor to support periodic healing and efficiency.

Bear, Cat, Moonkin and the healer’s shifting decisions

Bear uses rage and defensive investment to hold enemies through incoming attacks. Cat uses energy and combo points, with bleeding targets enabling Rend and Tear. Both share Feral Combat, but choosing King of the Jungle instead of Natural Reaction is a real role tradeoff; save separate builds when you regularly switch assignments.

Moonkin uses mana and a Wrath-to-Starfire sequence through Eclipse. Restoration also uses mana but spends its points on HoT duration, healing response and group recovery. The current tree has Wild Growth as its deep Restoration talent, not Tree of Life. Healing in caster form is the supported plan in this snapshot.

Shapeshifting changes which actions and resources are available and consumes mana. Furor’s current Cat behavior restores retained energy plus energy earned during eligible time outside animal forms; it is not a flat energy refill every time you shift. Moonkin cannot cast healing spells, and shifting to heal during tank duty also changes your defenses. Plan the exit and return instead of treating form changes as free.

Druid talents: WoW Forever vs Classic

Comparison checked against the Classic references in the local beta snapshot, build 1.60.1.70009, dated September 24, 2026. These are talent-data differences, not measured performance rankings; later beta changes can alter them.

  • Balance gains Eclipse and Nature’s Splendor. Eclipse uses Wrath to grant faster Starfire casts; Nature’s Splendor extends specific damage and healing effects. The current Moonkin aura is exclusive with Leader of the Pack, so do not count both bonuses together.
  • Feral gains Primal Bite, King of the Jungle, Natural Reaction and Berserk. These additions separate Cat energy planning from Bear rage and dodge benefits more clearly than a single generic Classic Feral build.
  • Restoration gains Wild Growth and Gift of the Earthmother, while Furor changes Cat energy handling. The source contains no Tree of Life entry; importing a later expansion’s Tree-form rotation would misrepresent the current kit.

Source note: Eclipse

“Your Wrath spell reduces the cast time of your next 2 Starfire spells by 0.50 sec.”

Druid build questions

Where is Tree of Life in the WoW Forever Druid tree?

It is not present in this page’s current talent and spellbook snapshot. Restoration is still the healing tree, with Wild Growth as its deep talent. Do not plan a Tree-form-only spell sequence from another version of the game.

Can I use one Feral build for both Bear tanking and Cat DPS?

You can share many talents, but the priorities differ. The Bear preset buys Thick Hide and Natural Reaction; the Cat preset spends more on energy and critical-damage tools. Use separate saved allocations when each role needs its dedicated package.

Does shifting out and back into Cat always give free energy?

No. The current Furor restores retained Cat energy and adds energy for eligible time outside Bear, Cat and Dire Bear forms, up to the stated cap. Shifting still costs mana; it is not an unconditional energy refill.

Can Moonkin heal without dropping form, and does its aura stack with Leader of the Pack?

The current Moonkin Form prevents healing spells while shifted. Its party critical-chance aura is also exclusive with Leader of the Pack, so leave form to heal and do not add both aura bonuses when planning group benefits.
