Fury DPS — 15 / 36 / 0

This WoW Forever Warrior build pairs Bloodthirst with Death Wish and 5/5 Flurry for sustained dual-wield damage. Dual Wield Specialization improves off-hand damage, hit chance and Rage generation; Raging Blows adds an off-hand Whirlwind strike. Precision reduces misses. Arms supplies Deep Wounds and Anger Management. Spend Rage on Bloodthirst and Whirlwind before dumping excess into Heroic Strike; Death Wish increases incoming damage, so time it around dangerous mechanics.

Protection tank — 5 / 5 / 41

This WoW Forever Warrior build uses a shield: Shield Specialization and Master of Defense turn blocks, dodges and parries into Rage. Defiance boosts Defensive Stance threat, while Shield Slam and Bastion support damage and threat. Focused Rage lowers offensive costs. Last Stand and Improved Shield Wall provide defensive cooldown support; Deflection, Anticipation and Toughness strengthen mitigation. The five Fury points buy Cruelty without sacrificing the Protection capstone.

Warrior Rage: tank versus DPS talent choices

Rage is your combat resource: weapon attacks, incoming damage and abilities such as Charge and Bloodrage help supply it. Avoid spending your last Rage on Heroic Strike when a core attack is about to become available. Anger Management grants 1 Rage every 3 seconds in combat; Unbridled Wrath can add Rage to melee hits. More maximum Rage from Boundless Rage creates room to bank resources, but does not generate Rage by itself.

For tanking, keep a shield equipped to activate Defiance, Bastion and Master of Defense. For dual-wield DPS, prioritize reliable hits, off-hand support and Flurry uptime. Arms favors two-handed weapons, Rend-triggered Overpower opportunities through Bloodthrill, and Sweeping Strikes for cleave. A Warrior talent calculator helps compare these trade-offs, but your weapon setup still determines which talents actually work.

WoW Forever Warrior talents versus Classic

The comparison below follows this site’s beta-client talent snapshot, build 1.60.1.70009, dated September 24, 2026. It describes talent effects rather than treating every wording change as a balance change.

  • Arms: Bloodthrill adds Rend-based Overpower procs, and Weaponmaster combines weapon-specific benefits in one talent. Improved Slam now also reduces the global cooldown and cooldown, and prevents Slam from delaying your melee swing. Classic’s version only reduced cast time.
  • Fury: Raging Blows makes Whirlwind strike with the off-hand weapon. Dual Wield Specialization now adds off-hand Rage generation and hit chance alongside damage. Bloodthirst changes from 45% Attack Power plus a healing effect to 35% Attack Power plus 30 damage and a movement-speed buff in this snapshot.
  • Protection: Master of Defense adds Rage on dodges and parries with a shield, Vanguard enables Charge in Defensive Stance, and Focused Rage reduces offensive Rage costs. Improved Revenge changes from a stun chance to bonus damage. Defiance now requires a shield, so a Classic dual-wield threat setup cannot assume the same benefit.

Source note: Anger Management

“Generates 1 Rage every 3 sec while in combat, and reduces Rage loss while out of combat by 30%.”

WoW Forever Warrior talent FAQ

What is the best Warrior build in WoW Forever?

For a shield tank, start with the 5/5/41 Protection build above. For dual-wield DPS, try the 15/36/0 Fury build with Bloodthirst, Flurry and Precision. The best WoW Forever Warrior build depends on weapons, encounter damage and group needs; these are complete starting allocations, not a proven universal ranking.

Fury or Arms for leveling in WoW Forever?

Arms is a practical starting choice with a strong two-handed weapon: Improved Overpower, Sweeping Strikes and later Bloodthrill support questing and cleave. Fury is an option when you have suitable weapons and enough hit support, with Unbridled Wrath and Dual Wield Specialization helping Rage. The 51-point presets are level-60 targets, not a level-by-level spending order.

How many talent points can a Warrior spend?

A Warrior has 51 talent points at level 60, earning one per level from level 10. This Warrior talent calculator enforces the shared 51-point limit, each talent’s maximum rank, lower-row point gates and prerequisite talents across Arms, Fury and Protection.

Can I tank with the Fury DPS build?

You can equip a shield, but the DPS preset skips Protection’s Shield Slam, Last Stand, Focused Rage and shield-based Rage talents. For dedicated tanking, load the Protection preset and keep a shield equipped so its defensive and threat talents function.

How do I save and share my Warrior talents?

Choose Save build & create link to store your current allocation in this browser and generate a shareable URL. Copy the link to reopen the same talent ranks on another device. Load saved build restores your last local save; Reset clears the current allocation without deleting that save.
